I was always taught that a belief that 'the ends justify the means' was a short step from totalitarianism. What wouldn't be acceptable to 'teach the man a lesson'?

I'm afraid that Canada as a nation seems to have a track record of great sacrifice for others (in the past) coupled with extraordinary examples of hatred (Ghomeshi case and Gregory Allan Elliott case)

I am reluctant to point out that it was mostly young men who showed their compassion for their fellow humans, as that would be provocative. But how have so many Canadian women apparently lost any moral compass, and abandoned universally accepted standards of human decency in place of some ill-conceived jihad against men?

I fear that this level of moral bankruptcy is a ticking time bomb that will metastasise into social divisisions, and perhaps even civil unrest. Can you imagine reasoning with Stephanie Guthrie? Chanty Binx? Lucy De Coutere?
