Hey, I'm quite new here, but I've been paying attention to men's issues for a while now. A couple of weeks ago, the discussion about "legal abortion" arose, and I am very much in favor. Though I didn't see it discussed in the media nationally (Norway). This is a quite new issue, and after checking political parties, I found that neither of them take a position on it either.
A few days ago I wrote to the political party I'm supporting, asking them to take a stance on this, supplying sources that underlined the importance of having a law that allows people their reproductive rights. I got a response that they had no stance of this, but I replied, stating that I wished for them to take a stance on the issue, as it was an important one. The issue was forwarded to the party leadership, and I was told it would be discussed in their next annual meeting.
Now, I'm just a single voice that has thrown my lot in with those I believe will listen, but MensRights has more than 100k members, go ahead, send your representatives emails. Show that in order to get your vote, they need to take a stance on this issue.
