Preface

My promise to the reader: This is not about women. this is about feminism. you will not find a single place in this Post that blames women, or points out women as a problem, because they aren't the problem in the slightest. Keep in mind that the word Feminism does not mean woman. Please keep any rhetoric in the vein of "bad women" out of this- the poisonous mentality that either sex is to blame for anything is the very reason we are in this mess to begin with.

I wont be sourcing my statistics for claims here; E.G. the wage gap myth. This is already a ton of work, and they are all already very well sourced, widely known, and provided elsewhere within the MRM sub. if you want specific sources for things i will happily oblige your request in the comments, but the things being written about here have widely been previously debunked by anti-feminists, and MRMs previously.

The Cult of Feminism

the primary issues with feminism, and the things that they fight for, are not rooted in equality, they are rooted in insecurity. By feeding on this insecurity, and providing other feminists with promises that they will protect them from this insecurity, they create a "pseudo-security" that feminists can take comfort in, which makes for a borderline codependency on the feminist movement. it quite literally derides into a cult movement at this point, and this is not even joking. the tactics of appealing to a persons weaknesses, offering to reinforce them, and protect them, and offer them camaraderie are the very precepts of how to form a cult.

Anthony Atkins wrote a extraordinarily accurate guide for "how to create a cult" within his book. His definition of how to make a cult (numbered series) and my definition of how feminism does this (bullet points) below:

How to form a cult

  1. Create your own social reality
    • How feminists Achieve this:
      • Feminism does this by creating a fictitious world in which women are oppressed in the first world by using myths, fallacies, fear-mongering, and falsehoods (Examples below)
        • College Rape hysteria
        • Wage Gap
        • Sexist Mentalities aimed at both women and men.
      • They reinforce this reality by giving people who feel they are a victim a place in which they are alleviated from their victim-hood, protected from it. this in turn breeds fervent loyalty, and is the very basis on which the cult mentality is bred.
      • They further this "victim-hood" by indoctrinating people by educating them that they are, contrary to their own and popular beliefs, actually victims.
  2. Create a granfalloon
    • How feminists Achieve this:
      • Definition of a Granfalloon for those not familiar:
      • The granfalloon technique is a method of persuasion in which individuals are encouraged to identify with a particular granfalloon or social group. The pressure to identify with a group is meant as a method of securing the individual's loyalty and commitment through adoption of the group's symbols, rituals, and beliefs.
      • the feminist model achieves a granfalloon by simultaneously shaming anyone who doesn't follow them, and creating a public image that its distasteful, and even shameful to not be a part of the feminist group. they do this by ridiculing and shaming anyone who does not conform to their paradigm.
      • they reinforce this by trying to paint their movement as the Hip and cool thing to do. you cant go through a dating service without seeing "im a feminist" on virtually every single account. when you approach them about the hot-button topics of feminism, they either parrot fallacious statistics, or are completely, clueless, or even ambivalent
  3. Create commitment through dissonance reduction.
    • How feminists Achieve this:
      • By stifling their opposition with absolute tactics (examples below).
        • "How can you be a woman and NOT be a feminist?"
        • "you aren't a real man if you aren't a feminist"
        • "you hate women if you aren't a feminist"
        • "if you aren't a feminist you are a rape supporter"
        • "You'll understand when you are older"
        • "internalized misogyny"
        • "men are violent abusers"
        • "Men are rapists"
        • "Mansplaining"
        • "Manspreading"
        • "Misogynist"
      • They ingrain this stifling mentality in their followers who then in turn wage war using the same tactics of essentially denying that there can even be a counter argument to their points by engaging in the tactics described previously, and create an environment in which fighting back is shunned.
      • They also do this by silencing any and all opposition or opinions that don't fall inline with their narrative via shame/hate tactics and refuse to ever tackle controversial topics within their forums that don't play into their narrative.
  4. Establish the leaders credibility and attractiveness.
    • How feminists Achieve this:
      • They use ascetically pleasing figureheads
        • James dean (formerly a feminist)
        • Emma Watson
      • They use Socially Powerful Figureheads
        • Ellen Pao
        • Hillary Clinton
      • They use Edgy and Hip things to appeal to younger generations
        • Tattoos and vibrantly colored hairs
        • Flamboyant and Rapacious attitudes
  5. Send members out to proselytize the unredeemed.
    • How feminists Achieve this:
      • see any college right now.
      • they focus on indoctrinating the young, and impressionable.
      • they then use these newly formed zealots to exert peer pressure on each other to further indoctrinate more.
      • classes on feminism have started to spill into the high schools of several far more feminist areas than america like Austrailia, NZ, and Sweden
      • by placing your potential recruits in a situation of which they cant possibly deny seeing your propaganda, you put them into a situation in which they have no choice but to accept your mindset for fear of societal ostracization and peer reprisal
  6. Distract members from thinking "undesirable" thoughts.
    • How feminists Achieve this:
      • by appending their repertoire of things to fight against once people start to think about the inconsistencies of their arguments, they can effectively shift their thoughts away from these things, and keep them focused on the agenda
      • First it was the wage gap
      • then it was the college rape hoax
      • now its mansplaining and manspreading
  7. Fixate members' vision on a phantom
    • How feminists Achieve this:
      • They Create an invisible entity that can never be confronted, can never be fought, and can never be beaten, but remains a constant goal to confront, to fight against, and attempt to beat. By those very virtues, its impossible to effectively refute and combat this phantom.
      • This phantom is better known as "The Patriarchy". by Tying the "patriarchy" to a quantifiable source, they provide their members in which a method to Combat and wage war against this phantom by proxy. by saying "men are the cause of the patriarchy", they effectively teach their followers that by harming men, they are harming the patriarchy, when in fact the phantom they are so desperate to fight, does not exist.

Insecurity- The root of feminism

I believe that a very large part of this insecurity comes from not having a partner that provides security, as the vast majority of feminists do not have a permanent life partner , be it male or female; the most recent statistic was that fewer than 20% of feminists have a permanent intimate life partner, and fewer than 5% of them are in or were in a traditional Male and female marriage. This is not to say that the partner providing that security be male or female; simply that an "alpha" type partner that can provide the levels of security that people need through reinforcing their body image, financial security, physical security, and social status.

The cult of feminism takes these insecurities and then provides these people a safe haven from them, and gives them something to blame for them (men and the patriarchy), effectively turning them into a dedicated tool for being used. it creates an environment in which they can freely live in their fantasy world in exchange for their fervent dedication.

The world Is grey, not black and white

Third wave feminism essentially assumes that our society is a black and white binary society that is simply boiled down to Men and women. An example of how feminism treats equality:

Rights are equal to 10. It holds that rights is a sum of 10 with men holding 7 parts of the rights pie and women holding three parts of the rights pie and therefore women are unequal to men. the mentality is that feminists currently employ is that women need to take those 2 extra parts men hold and give them to women to make it equal.

This is not equality.This is an archaic justice system that we still employ today called retributive justice - Aka an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. what feminism is trying to do, is the equivalent of giving every black person a white slave to make up for what our forefathers did back in the days of slavery. our world is NOT binary. it is NOT black and white. our world is very grey, dynamic, and fluid.

Feminism should be trying to elevate both parties to a 10, not bringing one party down to their level. this is what feminists fail to understand and why it will never transcend to anything more than a simplistic hate cult based in deriding the entirety of western civilization. For anyone curious: the only "just" rights movements in today's world, are the rights movements for everyone: Humanists, and egalitarians are heading in the right direction. By default, if focusing on the rights of one group, you create a pseudo-binary situation, and transform the argument from a standpoint of "My rights are lacking", to a stand point of "My Rights are lacking because of blank". this causes what should be a resolvable issue to transform into a male VS female situation.

We're Not on Different Frequencies, or speaking different languages

The common argument of men and women not being able to understand each others problems by virtue of not being the other is a complete fallacy. we are creatures capable of empathy, understanding, and logic and are thus capable of pondering the circumstance of another. that argument is the equivalent of a teenager screaming at their parents "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH DAD".

The only point where a males ability to relate to a female pales, albeit slightly, is in pregnancy. Men cant know what its like to force a watermelon out of their penis. its not physically possible (tho i'm sure the internet will prove me wrong on this one day....); However Men can relate to the pain of pregnancy and such through their own physical burden and labor. Men can also relate to the mental pains of a pregnancy, simply because they are going to be a father, and are going through the exact same panic, the exact same fear that a woman would go through.

the concept that men and women speak different languages, or are different at communication is at its core a fallacy. we are no different at communication. "mansplaining" is a cop out from people who have stepped into a higher level of conversation, where the presumed stance is that each party is informed of the circumstance of said conversation. you cant expect to step into someone else's ring, and have them play by your rules... its a foolish notion to ever think that.

For example, if i as a male were to step into the ring on the Roe V Wade debate with a group of people against the ruling's infringement on privacy, i could not expect them to stop their conversation to detail the intricacies of the ruling to me so that i could talk to the point on their level. if i am in their conversation its presumed that i am capable of speaking to the point with my own knowledge. for them to cut me off and say "no you are wrong, that's not how it works" and then go back to their conversation, is not them "Roesplaining" me, its them rejecting me from the conversation because i clearly haven't the education on the subject needed to converse with them on the proper level.

closing

in the first world we are all equal despite what you think or what others tell you. Albeit there are some disadvantaged groups out there that still face inequality, transsexuals, homosexuals, etc, simply because the laws to afford them equality haven't been fully penned and fleshed out. the laws that provide women and men equality however have.

If you are a feminist- stop fighting the bad fight. become a humanist, or an egalitarian, or just dont give two shits at all. any of those options are a better choice than third wave feminism. if you insist on pursuing feminism, do it in countries where it matters, where women are actually oppressed and in need of such radical mentalities to foster a faster change than what is currently happening.
