Milo Yiannopolous gets interrupted again during his talk at UCLA. It would be nice for protesters who disagree to organize a debate with him. These interruptions get old.

There are womens only clubs that oddly arent being pressured to go coed.

There seems to be zero proof that these remaining male only clubs foster sexual assault or misogyny.

Simple this is an attack on male only clubs in an effort to get rid of them solely because they are male only.

More hypocritical bullshit.

I really hope those remaining male only clubs stay male only at least until some actual proof (and merely being male only isnt proof) shows that they are fostering sexual assault. But if thats the case then shouldnt the clubs be disbanded?

I mean we dont see anyone trying to make KKK groups accept non whites.

There are women's only clubs that oddly arent being pressured to go coed.

The double standard is the what annoys me. If they were forcing all single gender clubs to go coed. I would have no problem with it. But forcing all the men's clubs to accept women. While allowing women's only clubs to reject men. That's a double standard.

A sexual-assault-prevention task force at Harvard University this week presented a damning portrayal of the institution’s prestigious "final clubs," saying the mostly male-only social organizations foster "a strong sense of sexual entitlement" and "deeply misogynistic attitudes."

Thoughtcriminals spotted!

Can't have a group of male slaves meeting without a female overseer or spy. They might develop "misogynistic attitudes" like not falling to their knees in the presence of their female overlords.

So...a self-proclaimed sexual assault task force claims men-only clubs should be integrated, because sexual exclusion leads to misogyny and then rape.

But if women aren't members of the clubs, wouldn't that mean less rape? As in, there aren't even women around for these evil men to rape.

The foolishness of this plan for such purposes is, of course, remarkable. In his commentary, Professor Syrett proceeds from the typical feminist assumption that all men are larval rapists, and concludes that fraternities reinforce that tendency through the sheer maleness of the whole endeavor. His solution? Balance all that unseemly masculinity by including women to watch over them and keep them in line. You know, kind of like having their moms around. Only these women will be younger, not related to them at all, and hand-picked from among those who are eager to spend time among popular frat boys in intimate living arrangements. In fact, they sound a good deal like the young women Syrett believes are being violated by fraternities in the first place—the ones who quite obviously did not keep those young rapists in line. But through the magic of inclusiveness and gender equality, I’m sure it’ll turn out totally different this time. Wesleyan’s fraternities will no doubt appreciate having such ready access to a woman’s touch (figuratively speaking, of course) to liven the place up a bit.

Two years ago, Amherst College expanded a 1984 ban on official fraternities and sororities to include "underground organizations" — a move that angered some students. A resolution passed by the Massachusetts college’s Board of Trustees warned that students could be suspended or expelled for belonging to groups that are similar to Greek organizations. Final clubs at Harvard exist as largely underground organizations, but the university doesn’t discipline students for joining them. More than 30 years ago, Harvard gave the clubs an ultimatum: become coed or move off campus. The clubs refused to admit women, and they’ve been unrecognized ever since.

Could Bowling Leagues and the PTA breed Nazis?

... In the late 1920s and early 1930s, Germany had an exceptionally vibrant civil society that included clubs involved in hiking, animal breeding, shooting, gymnastics, bowling, firefighting and singing. The authors’ principal finding is that in cities with dense networks of clubs and associations, Germans were far more likely to join the Nazi Party. -- Cass Sunstein is a Harvard Law School professor and former Obama Administration official

As soon as several of the inhabitants of the United States have taken up an opinion or a feeling which they wish to promote in the world, they look out for mutual assistance; and as soon as they have found one another out, they combine. From that moment they are no longer isolated men, but a power seen from afar, whose actions serve for an example and whose language is listened to. ... Nothing, in my opinion, is more deserving of our attention than the intellectual and moral associations of America. -- Alexis de Tocqueville

The Sunstein quote seems to confirm what I have suspected for a while, that American liberalism since the 1970s, underneath all the talk about diversity and inclusion, has really been about putting an end to the centuries-long nightmare of Tocquevillean America, and replacing it with a bureaucratic-managerial state.
