i totally agree with the idea of bringing back flogging for many criminal offenses; it would be far less cruel and most likely a lot more effective than prison when dealing with non-violent crimes. I suspect a considerable percentage of criminals would gladly opt for a flogging instead of a lengthy prison term and it would save a tremendous amount of money too.
