So someone saying the word bitch in a song is sexist

I mean, isn't the term 'bitch' inherently sexist? It's meant to imply that someone is being a whiny little girl or to refer to women in a pejorative manner. I know I wouldn't like it if someone called me a bitch, so I would imagine Swift would not like it either.

I definitely did not get that interpretation from the video. If anything, Swift would call domestic abuse insane, since she uses that term in the lyrics and seems to portrays it in the video. Your interpretation of the video seems to be very literal, where as the video seems to be aiming for satire.

I don't know how clearer I can make this, she was offended by a song lyric, but was fine with publishing this video, if she actually cared for the genders equally she would either be okay with either or be offended by both.

I'm criticizing her for her hypocrisy. This video isn't anymore sexist then saying bitch in a song is, which Taylor seems to take issue with.

So hypothetically speaking, say Taylor never made this video, and someone did make a video exactly like this with the fenders reversed. You don't think she would find it sexist? How do you think the media would react, keep in mind they freaked out at Maroon 5's song animals for portraying a stalker.
