What really happened:

Vet gets 1mil to take care of himself after brain damage in Afghanistan
Wife wastes 300k on a house without getting it inspected
House is shit and needs to be rebuilt wasting another 295k
Wife lies about about other financial stuff to judges and officials
Some how they spend another 200k since purchasing the house.
200K left, wife decides to leave and take 185k of the remaining money for herself and 2 kids.
Also wants part ownership of the 600k house.
judge says no, instead awards wife 85k for legal fees plus an extra 10k. Also orders disabled husband to pay 30k towards mortgage of a 2nd joint property that will be transferred to his wife.

I think this is for sure a pussy pass but don't blatantly lie in your title op.
