I grew up as a white boy in a 1990s ghetto. The school was about 20% white. One of my teachers in middle school got fired after clandestinely advising some white kids to consider making friends with each other to avoid getting beaten down/killed by gangs of urban gentlemen.

I don't wanna go all SF up in this sub, but it's a weird conundrum we've found ourselves in. White guilt essentially just hands a political weapon to one group that would otherwise have no power over another. White kids in the ghetto would do better to group up rather than attempt to assimilate themselves into thug culture. It works for prisoners, which is essentially what you feel like as a white kid in the ghetto. I'd love to have seen a bunch of white trash teens roll in there and go WWF on everyone involved in this mess.
