I'm all for checking women when they step out of line but I'm going to risk some serious downvotes here and say I think his retaliation far exceeded her transgression.

Yeah, she's pushing him and slapping him upside the back of his head, but does that really warrant lifting her five feet into the air and slamming her to the ground right next to a chair? He could have very easily misjudged, slammed her neck onto the chairback and snapped one of her vertebrae. Next thing he knows he's looking at an attempted manslaughter charge.

All he had to do was give her a swift jab to her chin or a palm strike to her solar plexus and she would have knocked her sh1t off right quick.

People seriously need to think about the scope of their actions. As men, its stupid easy to overpower most women without even trying (unless its like Ronda Rousey or some chick with actual training.) That's probably a large part of why domestic violence gets such a bad rap - douchebag husbands lose their sh1t and turn their wives face's into hamburger meat.
