They also "fail" to see the parallels with the Rolling Stone hit piece. I'm sure they tried really hard.

They also manage to use the word "ironic" in the article, which I find fairly ironic.

When their careers and ideology rely on them having total confidence in their beliefs, it is unlikely that you will ever 'convince' them of anything else or make them question their own beliefs. They are financially incentivized to maintain ignorance.

That is a much bigger problem than most here appreciate. There are literally tens of thousands -- perhaps hundreds of thousands of well-paid individuals whose livelihoods depend on pushing feminism. And that's just the financial aspect. What do you do when you figure out that you have spent your entire life on a bogus ideology that has not helped but harmed society? Most people do not have the strength of character to admit error on small matters, let alone one's entire life work.

I never really understood why there's no proof needed for a guy to get sent to jail for "Rape".

It's called self-righteousness, some people get so high off it they think they can get away with anything and they I think a lot of them don't even subconsciously realise they're targeting innocent people.

I consider this kind of shit a bigger danger than ISIS because at least it's relatively clear cut that they're an enemy and you can shoot at them but these people are hiding within our own governments and courts. They actually operate under the same kind of principle, which is why I compare feminism to radical islam a lot and they both think that anybody who isn't them is evil so therefore it's okay to do whatever they want to them.

It's a great way of dehumanising people outside of your specific organisation and it works if people are stupid enough to believe it.

Depends on where you live. ISIS can't do shit against europe and america, but they are a huge threat in Syria and Iraq.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, they are a threat, but not that big of a threat to the likes of us, but feminists are actually trying to take over high ranking government positions because people actually take some of them seriously.

Meanwhile if you mention sharia law and everybody even gets a whiff of radical islam about you they immediately get out the pitchforks.

Oh, sorry. & that's actually a good way to put it! (No sarcasm.)

The feminist argument is that a woman's word IS proof. Hence, a mere accusation constitutes proof, by definition.

It's all part of the man bad, woman good theme they've got goin' on over there in bigotry land.

Oh, sorry. & ah, thanks!

Maybe this guy should add HuffPo to his defamation lawsuit against CNN http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/nov/20/jameis-winston-threatens-to-sue-cnn-over-movie-the-hunting-ground

Is this doc as bad as everyone is saying? I've not personally watched it but everyone I see talking about it says it's pure propaganda.

[–]RedditorJemi 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Watch it this sunday. And get popcorn. This film is going to be the first death knell for the 'listen and believe' mantra of feminists and SJW's. And there will be more.

Campus rape and sexual assault is such a massive problem that no real examples can be found!

(Yes, I realize it happens, but why the fuck do they have to make shit up?)

[–]RedditorJemi 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can think of two reasons: 1) Misandry. Having men constantly under threat of being accused of rape satisfies the need of feminists to hurt men. 2) Power. Being able to accuse men of rape and be automatically believed gives women godlike power over men.
