I don't think it is a problem concerning this particular person.

It is more of an authority problem; people in the education industry aren't hold to high standards, and are given plenty of freedom to give their personal "twist" to the job they are supposed to do.

There should be some kind of control, to prevent any diversion of a neutral curriculum. Although it sounds authoritarian, right now we as a society find it OK to leave our kids to complete strangers, who have not only no obligation to make the child learn, but can also treat each child the way the stranger feels like.

Peoples actions should be hold accountable, we have laws in place to prevent citizens from mistreating eachother, but we have no such thing for ~~process operators~~ teachers.
