Children don't have rights, but they don't have responsibilities either. Women have all of the rights and then some, but in some cases get to choose or make men take over their responsibilities.

1000 years ago, women lacked a lot of rights that men had, but they also lacked a lot of responsibilities. This is why "lack of rights" does not necessarily correspond to "oppression."

Pretty much. You can actually make an argument -- as crazy as this sounds at first -- that countries like Saudi Arabia are more gender egalitarian than feminist countries. This is because both men and women have a shitty deal. The women lack rights but are compensated for this injustice by being protected and served via male labour. As Karen Straughan notes, most women in Saudi Arabia don't want the right to drive -- they prefer having male chauffers. And voting is pretty much an exercise in futility anyway. We often hear about stonings of women for adultery in tribal regions of third world countries; what we don't hear about are the 100 or so men being executed for every woman -- often under even flimsier pretences.

As we are all aware, feminism does NOT actually increase gender egalitarianism. Rather, it keeps almost all of the responsibility on males, while simultaneously privileging females in every sphere. The biggest problem seems to be that most men pride themselves on taking responsibility for their actions, whereas most women seem to be allergic to the concept. Many women seem to actually like viewing themselves as victims without agency, and many men are all too happy to nurture this delusion.

Do people claim children are oppressed just because they have less rights in certain areas?

Note children dont lack any of the passive rights such as freedom from abuse and have additional protective rights such as the right to be fed clothed and sheltered without working for it, rights that adults dont have, but rather lack action rights like the right to vote and the right to go wherever they want without a guardian and so on. But in return children lack responsabilities.

Yet noone claims children are oppressed because of this.

Women used to have less active rights while having more passive rights than men and in addition just like children had far less responsabilities.

Feminists demanded the social contract be changed and we males changed it for them. (This shows women have always chosen the social contract of rights versus responsabilities to live under).

Then feminists demanded more.

In return for voting rights males had the responsability to register for selective service. Yet feminists demanded the vote for women without the underlying responsability associated with it.

This is what feminism has been about. Aquiring the positive rights of males while keeping the extra passive rights of females that males never got and remaining free of all responsabilities.

Feminism equals all rights all privledges and none of the responsabilities.

And white knights handed it to them on a platter.

but the flips side of this (and its true) is that women are not taken as seriously as men, exactly because they act like children in society.

even women subconsciously rate men as more competent and able when it really comes down to it.

its been show in various experiments etc that even when rating a task which is entirely based on chance (i.e player input has no impact on result) confident male opponents will change the risk (bet) men and women make (more cautious) and women and weak feminine men make people generally bet more.

i.e if you were betting on heads versus tales and your opponent was a confident man you would subconciously be more cautious but if it was a woman you would be more risky and see her as less of a threat/competiton and a greater chance of winning (even though it actually makes no difference)
