From what I've read on the sidebar, I understand that you should punish bad behavior by withdrawing investment. However, I am confused on how to do this without seeming butthurt and the timing of the investment withdrawal.

On the investment withdrawal timing:

Let's say a plate you've been seeing for some weeks shows up to a meetup at a bar 30 minutes late. No big deal, you were there getting drinks and talking to some girls while you waited. She shows up and gives you a non-sincere apology. Do you address the fact she showed up late or do you just carry on as if she showed up on time? Do you let her bad behavior ruin the mood of the meetup? Do you act cold and distant during the hang-out or do you do that after?

On not being butthurt:

How do you respond if she asks you "what's wrong?" or says something like "you seem upset". Do you ever tell them what they did wrong or do you just let them figure it out? Would letting them know what they did to annoy you be seen as giving away a weakness?

I want to be able to punish bad behavior without giving them the satisfaction that they "got to me". In short, I want to be indifferent without enforcing or encouraging bad behavior.
