Daily Mail refers to consenual underage sex as "rape" - just like they do when it's a female teacher and her student. Oh wait, no they don't.

The reason for this is that it is impossible by it's very definition for any woman to be convicted of rape in the UK! Check the legal definition of rape (copied and pasted below directly from the sexual offences act 2003, for your convenience) and then ask yourself how many women you know who have penises.

1Rape

(1)A person (A) commits an offence if— (a)he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis, (b)B does not consent to the penetration, and (c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents. (2)Whether a belief is reasonable is to be determined having regard to all the circumstances, including any steps A has taken to ascertain whether B consents. (3)Sections 75 and 76 apply to an offence under this section. (4)A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable, on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for life.

Rape is, therefore, by it's very definition a gender specific crime!

Do you think a 51 year old police officer having sex with a 16 year old he met at a "police-organised event for youths in a safe, alcohol and drug-free environment, designed to improve relationships between police and youth" is really "consensual" and not predatory as fuck? Daily mail can feel free to call this rape. Fuck that guy!

Obviously the cops thought so or otherwise he would have been charged with...you know, rape. Consenual underage sex is the crime he was convicted of.

They should call this rape but they should also call it rape when a woman does the same thing to young boys.

Instead they call this rape but when a 40 year old woman has sex with an 11 year old boy it's an "inappropriate relationship" or an "illegal tryst".

AND he's going to jail, whereas women who do the same thing with much younger boys get probation.

It's a troll. Discussion won't work with them.

Only speaking to this article and case, every course of action being taken against this police officer is perfectly just. I don't see anything about female teacher trysts in this article.

I mean, it's easy to verify for yourself that the daily mail absolutely does NOT refer to crimes like this as rape when committed by women.

As a matter of fact, here's the one I was talking about:

Married police dispatcher, 40, 'had long-term sexual relationship with son's 11-year-old friend'

That's not rape, that's a relationship!
