This movement is not the yin to Feminism's yang. We don't need boogiemen to fight or to wrap up all of social interaction into a simplistic, inaccurate bundle in order to frame ourselves as tautologically "right".

I think it's a big advance. It is a clear description of the central problem, and easy to demonstrate.

Yeah we do need a bogeyman and that bogeyman is feminism. Feminism is the enemy.

Most of those other options (let alone a made up word like "gynocentrism") are not contenders. Although some point out that tradcon (of which feminism is a type) is the the cause of a lot of problems still, it isn't government policy.

The movement needs an enemy for a couple of reasons. (1) because feminism really is deliberately attacking men and needs to be stopped (2) because attacking feminism creates publicity (3) because young men are (rightly) going to be very angry when they become politically aware of the shit they've been thrown under, and if they don't have a better target half of them will blame "women", which is (literally) what feminists want to have happen.
