What amazes me is the huge number of typed words wasted on this issue. Frankly, I challenge all who read this to think for a moment on how often women in the feminist "movement" wonder how the men will react.

Not very if at all you say?

THAT'S the salient point here....this is for us, by us, and screw anyone that doesn't agree. Does this mean women are not allowed? Well, if you think Men's Rights belong in a treehouse with a sign hanging by the door saying "no girls allowed" then by all means, state that case.

I for one am simply tired of measuring every response, every action, based on how it will play to the vulva crowd. I mean, be serious here guys...could you EVER see this happening in feminism's case?

Chivalry in action? You bet it is...although slightly watered down. The case has been made that evicting women from the "movement" is bad...hell, I definitely agree with that...but to modify our behaviour because someone with a vagina takes offense? Contributions, perhaps even arguments (like that sort of thing which arises from time to time with feminists who come here to challenge us) are useful...they sharpen our pens, they give us a chance to refine our positions.

But to suggest that we should not fall into the same "trap" as feminism...to suggest that we should hold ourselves to a higher standard?

Ever notice how in divorce court the lawyer ALWAYS tells the man to "take the high road" and the woman in the case will almost universally play as dirty as hell? Ever notice that taking the "high road" leads to a resounding thumping in battle?

Ever wonder why the only ones calling for us to take the high road are either women (usually self-proclaimed feminists, or "ex" feminists) or men defending female interests?

For God's sake...women have had thier interests REPRESENTED for decades...at the expense of men, and have had every possible accomodation made for them - with ZERO regard for the social impact and effect these policies will have on men.

Do you STILL believe we need to mitigate our responses out of respect for "some women" who aren't "hard core feminist"?

Hopefully that loud popping sound I hear is a few heads being removed from various and sundry @sses.

This isn't a call to arms or anything so melodramatic...it's simply my view that we HAVE to define what we want, we HAVE to formulate a plan of action or the like, and we SHOULD NOT do this with ANY REGARD WHATSOEVER for the effect it has on women.

The simple fact that what we are asking for can be summed up (for the most part) in one phrase..."No special treatment, advantages, or programs for ANY "defined" group - equal treatment, consequences and OPPORTUNITY under the law". For Christ's Sake...this is the basis of law in EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRACY ON THE PLANET. All we want is the law to be applied as it was intended.

Now I ask you...why would ANY woman take issue with that?
