NPR recently run several programs on future jobs and lack thereof because of rapid mechanization in all sorts of industries. Self driving truck has just made it's grand opening run across the country, so all you truckers out should really start considering your options (how many are women?) Surprisedly, they talked about white collar jobs you wouldn't think are on the chopping block in the near future, like sports writers and lawyers. Those are already being automated, on reg basis. I wonder, how disproportionately this would affect men. Would this accelerate the collapse of western world, when most jobs left are in nursing and therapy dominated by women? What you your thoughts on this?
