My whole life, as far as I can remember I've always taken things VERY serious, to the point where I'd overthink/hyper-analyze a situation and it would do more harm than good. I'd be so serious about an insult or some shit someone said about me, I'd fester all this anger and take it so serious, meanwhile the other person is off dancing somewhere having fun while I am petty and small. I am beginning to realize that my whole archetype of being this super serious guy who never joke around type is probably the worst type of person to be. I take everything everyone says with 100% seriousness (even children), like I am a drill sergeant/president or something. When someone insults me, It's like "okay, time to drop the nukes and start WWIII". My mind is always taking other people so seriously, and being easily emotionally controlled by them. I think of how easy others have it that dont have this deficiency in their personality. Who just don't take other people, and their insults seriously and joke about so much. I feel like I am stoic all the time, and when someone insults me I get pissed by never say anything back, I just take the insult in my butt and get mad at myself. Am I going about life all wrong?
