More generally, schools need to become more boy-friendly. They should recognise that boys like to rush around more than girls do: it’s better to give them lots of organised sports and energy-eating games than to dose them with Ritalin or tell them off for fidgeting. They need to provide more male role models: employing more male teachers in primary schools will both supply boys with a male to whom they can relate and demonstrate that men can be teachers as well as firefighters.

That doesn't sound like "drivel" to me.

Once past the first few paragraphs, this article is actually pretty supportive of the MRM, or at least is aligned with many of the same goals.

This article says the opposite of what you proclaim. That is, unless you believe that the job market should be artificially frozen so that people can keep their existing jobs whether or not they are needed.

This article is largely focused on arguments that economists make constantly. I mean, my tablet has an article saved called "How Welfare Undermines Marriage and What to Do About It" that I was assigned to read for my Public Economics class. It's all about the argument that the government's policies have destroyed the incentive for people on welfare to get married by decreasing their benefits by incorporating the other person's income.

This article is coming at things a bit off because the writer obviously does not understand the idea that just because men are leaders in name does not mean that society benefits men. But, overall, it's like reading that article from a feminist who said her eyes were opened when she fell in love with an MRA.

Now, there is a bit of stupidity in putting hairdressers and nurses up there side-by-side. I mean, both do require some training however the difficulties of becoming a nurse vary greatly. I know that there are areas where you cannot get a nursing job with less than a BSN. Plus, my school's BSN program has about a 50% dropout rate because it's so hard. And when it comes to day-to-day work, well, I'm pretty sure an ER or oncology nurse will not take kindly to being compared to a hairdresser.
