I'm an American, but I spent six months on exchange in London back in 2003, and something I noticed while I was there was that traditional gender norms seemed just slightly more maintained there than in NYC (where I had spent the rest of my college career). I haven't been back since then, but I've seen a lot of articles on this sub from the UK, and I'm wondering if people with experiences in both countries could weigh in on whether or not misandry is more extreme and/or prevalent in one country or the other.
