Man loses role that focuses on women's welfare for being a guy [deleted] April 15, 2015 21 upvotes /r/MensRights We believe the fact that a man was allowed to run against a woman for the position of Women’s Officer disadvantaged the woman and that allowing a man to hold this role defeats its purpose. We believe that a man being elected (unconstitutionally) over a woman for a role that focuses on women’s welfare, empowerment and equality is absurd and offensive to women students. https://www.change.org/p/women-s-representation-at-university-is-not-a-joke-tuu-src-women-s-officer-james-ritchie-to-resign-and-tuu-to-apologise-to-women-students-and-safeguard-autonomous-women-s-represenation?recruiter=79282525&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_term=mob-xs-no_src-no_msg&fb_ref=Default I sometimes feel like I'm on crazy pills. Why do schools even need a women's welfare group? Why not a human welfare group?
