How out of this world it is to claim that men don't face discrimination - or less than women. A list that tries to describe what a typical man is likely to face or can face because off the "wrong" gender during his life.

1) It's much harder for a boy to get adopted.

2) Boys are taught to behave in a manly way while girls can have manly characters as well feminine.

3) Boys are taught not to hit girls ever, girls are taught not to hit people.

4) Boys are often regarded wild ad out of control (and often medicated), while girls are free to express what's typical for them.

5) Boys face more violence both in homes and outside.

6) In schools boys get lower grades with the same knowledge.

7) Teachers like boys less although male teachers' bias isn't as strong.

8) In universities there are a lot less men.

9) For single men it's much harder to get an apartment rented.

10) It's harder for young men to get employed.

11) Conscription.

12) Men get harsher convictions in courts.

13) Men work in more dangerous jobs.

14) Men health expenses are lower and their medical problems get studied less.

15) There is a strong and hostile ideology and movement directed against men and nothing of the kind against women.

16) Men commit suicide more often.

17) Men die younger.
