Argue that he's an idiot, but he's choosing to marry her. He was not ordered to, and such an order would be clearly unenforceably unconstitutional.

Well, the woman had four kids. If he fathered a kid or two, it still would have been a life ruining decision to marry her on top of that... but I can see where the judge is coming from - he wants this guy to pick up the slack so it doesn't come out of the taxpayers' pockets.
