It's telling that a public school prohibits a "military-style" haircut, but does not say a peep about the draft. Men are still expected to die for women when shit hits the fan, but they must not feel any pride about the institution that uses them as cannon fodder. It's ridiculous. Just like men are still expected to fulfill traditional, masculine roles in relationships but are not allowed to expect anything from the woman.

When I was in school, they encouraged the students to get cuts like this. I think the by the books regulation was an inch off the collar and not touching the ears.

Educators have the least logic of any group of humans on the planet. Just like that school that wouldn't let a kid carry an inhaler on him and died, because when he had an asthma attack it was locked in the principals office who was out to lunch.
