I have never understood why western women felt so insecure about western men dating asian women. And it was pretty clear that the man here did not 'buy' his wife, but met her in the course of his life.

By the way, the trait men are looking for most when they search for exogamous relationships is not slavish submission, but rather a greater respect (which is to say, some respect) for the sacredness of the marriage bond, as well as basic human respect for (again, not servility to) the male human in the relationship.

SOOOO many western relationships are simply 'woman barely tolerates man for as long as he provides a service, while man shows devotion and commitment to his 'mate'', that it simply makes sense for a man to find a woman capable of truly loving him, rather than just using him, as American/British/Canadian women are encouraged to do.

EDIT: Btw, I was not attacking you specifically, Chavelah. Just this weird perception that all male geeks want to buy beautiful asian women as a submissive sex slave because we're losers.

Most first world women don't value marriage like you do. If guys want a even a chance at a truly serious lifelong commitment, they have to look outside the culture. They aren't trying to buy a submissive sex slave. They are looking for someone who both respects and loves them as much as they will.
