In the article in the daily beast it says "(Sulkowicz has previously described him as “drunk” during the incident.)". So if she thought he was drunk she raped him didn't she?

Sulkowicz responded to the Cathy Young article and feigned outrage at the idea that someone would dare to fact-check her allegations and even more outrage at the idea that the reporter actually did her job by offering her an opportunity to respond:

"Normally I don't respond to people who use my rapist as collateral in order to make me talk to them," she told Mic. Then, last Tuesday night, Young emailed again, this time saying she had about six pages of Facebook conversations between Sulkowicz and Nungesser and wanted to confirm their accuracy before publishing.

"It's an awful feeling where this reporter is digging through my personal life. At this point I didn't realize that she's extremely anti-feminist and would do this in order to shame me,"

This just makes her look like an even bigger liar. She sought the limelight by turning to the court of public opinion, took her mattress to the State of the Union, but now wants us to believe that the actual facts behind her allegation are part of her private "personal life".

It's also looking like the feminist response to the glaring contradictions in Sukowicz's story is going to be this "no perfect victim" narrative. This is a misleading and revisionist response. They're not referring to attacks on Sulkowicz's past sexual history or anything like that, but on evidence directly contradicts her version of the story. They're basically saying that lying about being raped in the first place simply makes one an "imperfect" victim.
