This was also the plot for an episode of the Ugly Betty TV series around 2006-2008. Whereby the title character's boss, a player-type magazine editor, was the target. The women simply used him to write a magazine article for another publication about how she "caught" him in 60 days and then publicly ridiculed him in print after he proposed to her.
