It's time your daughter grew up, and that means you not enabling her shitty attitude anymore. I know you don't want to lose her altogether, but it seems like your current relationship is simply one of parasite (her) and host (you). If you change nothing, nothing will ever change. By allowing her to continue with her solipsistic attitude, you are shortchanging yourself. As a father and grandfather, I know how easily our offspring turn our dials. But somewhere along the line, you are going to have to put your foot down and stop being her dupe. For her long term well being as well as your own.
