Prepare your members for the harassment they may receive just for discussing men's issues. It sounds like you're doing a good thing. Keep your head up.

Make sure you learn the rules of your school so you don't break those rules. Paul Elam of A Voice for Men and Sage Gerard of Zen Men would be great candidates to talk to. I'm sure you could talk to other founders of Men's Rights groups about their experiences and challenges.

you need to talk about how unfair education is towards boys. here is just one study: http://ideas.time.com/2013/02/06/do-teachers-really-discriminate-against-boys/

there are actually a lot of other examples. just google "school unfair to boys" also check out christine sommers. she knows quit a bit about this.

this is very important and it needs to change.

easy solution is to get more male teachers and teach boys and girls seperatly.

you might also be able to get a lot more support if you foccus on this supect.

Good Job !!! Good luck, remember to try not to target feminism with your material (as tempting as it is) just talk about the issues separate from it. That way you won't get the feminist monkeys attack you.

Try and frame it as having a secondary function as a sanctuary for trans-men (ftm) to gain some support and to deflect any possible criticism that might come your way.

Odds are there are very few (if any) transmen at your uni, and the ones that are there are probably decent types who just want to blend in.

For example: Some idiotic first year sociology student goes "wah wah wah you're all sexist" and you can say something like "we've done a lot to help transmen this past year. Besides, what have you done to help trans-men? How can you talk to us like that?"

It's stupid to hide behind minorities and vulnerable groups, but that's just how it is these days.

Here's a good line: " Research exploring differences in severity of sexual abuse experienced by male versus female victims suggests that males experience more invasive types of abuse, more types of sexual acts and abuse at the hands of more perpetrators than females (Baker and Duncan, 1985; Bentovim, 1987; DeJong, 1982; Dube, 1988; Ellerstein, 1980; Finkelhor et al., 1990; Gordon, 1990; Kaufman et al., 1980; Reinhart, 1987). However, it is likely that these findings fail to consider that it is the seriousness of the abuse that brought the incident involving a male victim to the attention of official agencies in the first place. Male victims tend not to report less severe types of sexual abuse, especially those involving female perpetrators."

Here's the strongest line: "This is even more of an issue for male victims. When boys are victimized, they tend to be seen as less in need of care and support (Watkins and Bentovim, 1992). They are also blamed more for their abuse (Burgess, 1985; Broussard and Wagner, 1988; Whatley and Riggio, 1993) and their offenders are held less accountable (Burgess, 1985). In one of the most troubling studies, Pierce and Pierce (1985) found that male victims, despite being subjected to more invasive types of abuse and more types of sexual acts than female victims, were 5 times less likely to be removed from their homes. "

If your #1 stated goal isn't the complete obliteration of feminism, whatever organization you start will be completely taken over by feminists. The fact is you've already lost because gender roles is feminist jargon based on fantasy, gender is biological. You are a feminist organization from the get go. Trans people? Take a swab kid and find out just how trans they really are. They already have feminists groups and classes, this is just more of the same, gender theory, feminist theory, queer theory. Lots of fantasy but no reality.
