Well, the music is godawful, so I have to admit I didn't listen to the whole thing, but from what I heard I like the message.

I heard it addressing issues like being expected not to show feelings or dress/act a certain way for fear of being called a "girl" (at best, or a nastier other word at worse). Basically, society detects that you're not able or willing to live up to its expectations of what manhood should be, and so tries to abuse and shame you for it until you give up. And since masculinity is generally seen as superior to femininity, these derogatory terms generally involve calling you some variant of "girl" as an insult.

I'm sure if you really want you could garner my position from my comment history :p

Unrelated, but I don't appreciate when people do this, ever. I think you should take every comment as it is. A person's past posts or opinions shouldn't be relevant.

Seems to me that it confuses two issues, only one of which is specific to men's rights. That one is, of course, the use of social pressure to get men to do what you want. Don't do what we want? ... then you're a girl...

We all know this sort of tactic, and you don't have to have a nonstandard hair style to be on the receiving end of it.

The other issue is the nonstandard hairstyle

This isn't a men's rights issue, IMO, because it applies equally well to women too. Take a look, for example, at Lady Gaga. Or rather take a look at her meat dress. For a public performer, the attention is necessary for professional success; and it also draws attention away from the self, and allows them to cope.
