You know what? I was aware of this model of child abuse, aware that it happened to boys, aware of the various warning signs... but it would not have occured to me to label it "trafficking" when the child remained in the home. It is absolutely trafficking, just as much as when the child is sold to a pimp who is not their parent or stepparent. I wonder how a case like this is reflected in the national statistics?
