The recent campaign against "manspreading" on buses is attracting plenty of criticism from MRAs, who claim that men should have the right to sit with their legs spread out.

However, I have noticed that there is a strong social stigma against men sitting with their legs crossed (knee-on-knee), as many people consider it effeminate. However, I prefer to sit in this position, since it is both comfortable and elegant, and so do many other men.

I think that, instead of trying to defend "manspreading", MRAs should try to defend male leg-crossing. It isn't fair that women can cross their legs with impunity without being judged or condemned by society, while it is taboo for males to do so.

MRAs should start a new campaign against this sexist double standard, and allow men to regain the right to cross their legs.
