This will be a little different from everything that's usually posted here but for some reason it stuck out in my mind tonight and thought you guys might like to read what I have to say about it.

I had a simple interaction with my fiance tonight. For feminists it would be a huge triumph and would be flaunted as a equality. For MRA's it is just what people that love each other do for each other. My fiance got home from a nine hour work day at a sub shop. She opened the door and stood at the bottom of the stairs(we live on the second floor of our apartment) and called out to me. I was just procrastinating on YouTube instead of doing my water table analysis homework so I got up and stood at the top of the stairs and asked if she had a bad day at work. I knew she had because it had already been bad at lunch when I ate lunch at her job. She said yes. So I walked down the stairs and picked her up, carried her upstairs, and immediately began making supper. I made us some supper, cleaned up after, and did the dishes, while she ate that supper and sat on the couch to watch her show.

Why is this a story worth reading? Because, as I said, feminists would think this equality, and that I was somehow doing this because she's a women and that I should do things like that for her. MRA's simply see a healthy relationship where a man does something for the special woman in his life.

It may seem stupid but I really like to be able to point that out. Thank you /r/mensrights for being normal, and understanding of what normal people do.
