There's tons of girls who think like that.

For example, Honeybadgerbrigade has quite a few girls who are supporters, and have varying ideas about men's rights.

Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if a young woman is more likely to say that, in part because as a woman, she won't feel people will attack her for saying it (although that feeling may be false as it turns out).

There is nothing wrong with focusing on one gender. She is a woman herself so she is going to relate to other females more.
