Probably not a popular opinion, but David Futrelle seemed much more reasonable in the 90s.

I found myself agreeing with what he was saying. The spin on what he had said was disingenuous.

With that said... If hypocrisy were strawberries, we'd all be drinking a bunch of smoothies right now.

He was clearly ahead of his time at one point, before he became reactionary and regressive.

He thought that abusers are usually men though, so pedestalized women and demonized men back then too.
