But it is better not to risk stuff like STDs and pregnancy with men who are not really in a great place to handle these things. Otherwise, you end up as a single mom

Why would I care who has sex and who doesn’t but I don’t believe in gatekeeping in general. Not choosing to have sex with someone is not gatekeeping, it’s just a choice. Marriage is not for everyone and that’s okay but it’s a choice they have to make for themselves.
