At this point, Feminism in the 1900s was very beneficial and great to get women's rights to be equal to men but now it has degraded with political correctness and SJW views. A majority of people labelling themselves Feminists have a lot of Misandrit views and thus the label now has a negative stigma as labels change overtime as the movement changes. (I would let 1900s Feminism get away with not focusing on mens issues as men were way more dominant in society back then although things like respectability and reputation were a big strain on men)

Many Feminists complain to much about irrelevant problems (such as female character designs, despite many male designs depicting tall buff men, the wage gap and manspreading), in the wrong place that is the Western World, rather than real problems like how disgusting laws about rape are in Eastern countries where it's legal to rape women, in some countries rape is allowed if the couple is married. Some countries also have child arranged marriages with 14 year old girls being married off to some 20 year old. The list goes on.

I'm actually on the biggest polish feminist group and they're very supportive towards men's problems, especially men's rape and home violence which is often ignored by police because (usually other men) think it's "unmanly" to not be excited for getting laid, even if it was against your will, or that it's pathetic to be beaten or threatened by your (female) partner.

The same group is also active towards LGBT right, and basically all my news on that topic I get from there because they're always up to date.

And Poland is not really the most equal country when it comes to women's rights, so I really support what they're fighting for. The country just got a new minister of education who thinks that women are basically objects and that they shouldn't have careers, and he mentions how it's ok when men are alcoholics, but not ok for women. Yeah, great guy. Wonderful country. 2/10.

Your point was, that the very definition you named as proof that feminism was equality, is actually false. You say that I am generalizing all feminists and yes, in a way that is true.

I have been to many feminist pages, and faar more often did I find openly man-hating posts, than actually posts mentioning men's issues.

You did not disprove my point about the actual definition of feminism. All you said is that many decades ago, women couldn't vote and shit. What does that have to do with what it is doing now?

You kind of got that notion in your head that feminism cares about both genders, but that's just factually incorrect. I just looked through the two largest feminism pages on instragram (@feminist and @feminism) and could not find a single post talking about what you claim. And I looked through the most recent 50 posts each.

Oh, and the definition itself ALSO states that the movement advocates for women's rights. And let's not forget about the dozens of events focussing on men's suicide rates etc, where feminidts blantantly went and protested against. Nice.

You missed my point I mention about voting and rights because I was saying that your definition of feminism was dirived from the original definition of feminism when women didn’t have rights and couldn’t vote, you should pay more attention next time, also not gonna get into this you are deflecting the argument yet again, there are pages such as @feministvoice that’s talk about men’s problems but again that’s besides the point,

Lmao you have not made a single valid point in this discussion. Try to sum up your points and you'll notice. Go ahead and do it. Here are mine.

-Feminists have actively acted against conventions raising awareness to things such as male suicide rates or workplace deaths

Feminists have promoted movements such as #Killallmen

None of the main feminist pages have any posts regarding men's issues.

They do however have lots of posts openly hostile towards men.

The official MODERN definition of feminism explicitely states they advocate for women's issues

I aknowledge that some feminists do indeed care about men's issues, however they are the CLEAR MINORITY

In the KKK there are also some people who would never harm anyone. There is a famous Ted Talk with a black guy who attends their rallies. It's much the same with feminism. Some good people in there, but far to little to make up for the large amount that aren't.

There is literally a second movement named egalitarism that actually focusses on both sides.

Now it's your turn. Go and list up your arguments that feminists are actually for pure equality and not female superiority.

Try saying that to Erin Pizzey who set up the world's first domestic abuse shelter who, when she tried to do the same for men, was sent death and bomb threats by feminists, had her dogs kidnapped and slaughtered, was banned from her own shelter and had to get a bomb squad to search through her mail. Try saying that to Warren Farrell who was kicked out of the NOW for trying to bring attention to mens issues within feminism. Meanwhile these same feminists praise the likes of Valerie Solanos, who published the SCUM Manifesto, Andrea Dworkin, who campaigned for the male population to be reduced to 10% of the actual population and for it to be kept that way and Mary P. Kiss who made the rape laws for most Western countries and made it so she excluded men as she thought men couldn't be raped. These are the true feminists you're on about. All mainstream. They're not the extreme minority. They're the normal majority

Youre not trying hard enough. Emily Davidson threw herself infront of a horse for womens voting rights. What have you actually done for mens rights? My girlfriend is a feminist and regularly donates money to a womans charity and between jobs devoted a chunk of her time to helping with womens shelters.

I've seen men denigrate fathers for justice despite them fighting for their rights much like how women tried to tear down other women for being feminists in the 70's.

MRM is filled with misogynistic MGTOW and incels but that's not the bulk of the MRM. Feminism is full of awful people, FDS, rad fems and militant femism but you don't throw out the whole thing.

You need specific groups to call attention to specific issues but despite highlighting the minority the actual majority of feminists don't hate men, they don't care about mens issues because its up to men to find the inequality in their lives and fight to get rid of it

I concede that her definition of rape is completely wrong regarding men but her changes have brought forward the ability for men to press forward against women who rape them for at least some offense rather than none as before.

This is going to be condescending but I hope you don't take it that way because it genuinely isn't intended that way.

We'll agree to disagree but the original message of not all feminists hate men is still correct.

I'm probably around 13 years older than you (wild guess but you are on teen subs so...) as you age an get older you'll meet far more people, explore your world our country which we share offline and online and you'll learn that 99% of this is grey AF. You'll even out as you get older. At your age (again a guess) I was hardore anti religious thinking it had no value and as I've gotten older I understand this to be wrong.

Im not saying you'll be a feminist in a few years I just hope you meet people who encourage you to expand into other viewpoints even just for consideration. Dont get locked into an echo chamber like so many people do.
