My STBXW and I spit in October, I filed first. Then I had to file a motion for custody because she was "allowing" me 8hrs a week with my daughter (4hrs during the week 4hrs on Sunday) said motion is filed and she still doesn't retain a lawyer or respond by deadline. (Shocker) come 2 days before the court she retains an attorney, trying to push back time. My attorney and I disagree. Lawyers and Judge do little back and forth, the judge ends up putting a tentative order in (now I get 14hrs a week) and sets a date for mediation. Go to mediation and I'm asking for too much, so nothing is agreed on. (I want after work 4 pm- 7 pm Tuesday and Thursday with every other weekend starting on Friday at 4 pm - Sunday 6 pm) I'm now waiting on the court date and still following tentative orders. Now I've told my attorney to not even entertain her attorney unless he feels it's worth it but to contact me first. My attorney is now saying to fight for overnights during the week as well and I'm all for it. I've learned in these past 3 months that being the nice guy gets you nowhere, every time you feel you're helping them out or doing the right thing they twist it on you. Always making you the bad guy. Long story short, I'm tired of her constantly trying to fuck me over but I will continue to fight for my daughter! Even if I'm running low on funds I will not fold, don't really care about much anymore besides my daughter. Also, thank you for everyone in this thread, had really helped me out.
