Been together 20 years, married 12. She's a fantastic wife and person but i'm not attracted to her and havent been for years. The biggest thing I love is how much she's in love with me, and that sounds awful to say/type/think. We had very little sexual intimacy in our marriage and communication hasnt been great and that potentially has built up walls for me. I keep longing for more - for someone that I want, that wants me, that I have butterflies for when I see them, thats increibly attractive to me as a person, that wants kids (even if i am getting older now, i'll regret not having kids). You know, someone to be in love with.

Is that stupid? Am i romantising a potential instead of working on something real that's probably good enough? I feel i'm throwing away what many would see as a good marriage, and it is good but I want great and amazing! Is this a stupid mistake?
