A year ago she was was talking to a lawyer that specialized in "amicable divorces" but apparently didn't get the answer she wanted.

A year later and now we've devolved into literally arguing about how to split a $3/month charge for a service for the kids. She's threatening to return them for my custody time figuratively if not literally naked--without any of their things that they need on a recurring basis, like music instruments and their cell phones.

I'm not sure if there's a point or a rant, but for sure they want it amicable--as long as it's on their terms. If it looks to be a split responsibility, and that's a new thing for her, the notion of maintaining amicability will go out the window as she comes to face her new role in life.
