Beware of false rape and domestic violence accusations. Beware of divorce sex and ups pregnancies. Do not drink anything while in this situation, of you can, tape your interactions. While I am sure it can be done, you can lose more than expected with a simple 911 call from her.

I did this when my divorce started 9 years ago. She wanted the divorce. While not happy about it, I was also relieved the misery was finally coming to an end.

She moved to another bedroom in the house. We kept it civil in the common areas. We agreed on informal group rules that we could lead our own lives and not be bothered by the other person.

However, if there's high levels of emotional angst, keeping it civil could be a real problem. As a guy you'll have to bend over backwards to be nice. The slightest little provocation on you're part could be blown up to claim you assulted her.

The hardest part was seeing her get all dressed up to go out on a number of evenings. She was all excited smiles looking forward to wherever it was she was going to and/or whom she was seeing. And yes, she was quite beautiful, easily a 10/10. Pure Norwegian. So yeah, seeing her going out was not exactly fun. But I never asked where she was going. I just nodded my head. ... If you can't deal with that then staying in the same house might be too difficult for you.

Would a separation agreement help with the details of accountability like who pays what and anything else that has been agreed too?
