H ey yall, I am currently going through a divorce that feels like it will never ends. It came close to end when she decided to hire a new lawyer. It’s been 2 years already. I bought a house 4 years before applying for divorce. She never lived here. I also was paying child support even tho the kid had been living with me for the last 2 years before she turned 18. I also pay Moore than 40000 in marital support. The judge wanted to come sign the papers and finalize the divorce when she decided to hire a new lawyer and the new one want a share of the house. Else, he is willing to go to trial. I am hearing that trial might be very expensive. Not sure if that’s what I want to do. I need advice, suggestions.. at this point I really don’t know what to do. I already spend 90k on here including child support. I recently came across an account that we had together that had over 60k at the time. She changed the information a few years ago and close the account. Not sure where that money is but I was able to retried those old bank statement from the bank. Not sure if that will help but she didn’t declare anything during the discovery. Anyway, I hope this makes sense. Just wanted to see if I can get some advice here.. I’m stuck.
