My SBTX has held my D3 for 2 weeks in defiance of emergency orders given by the judge. On Wednesday, we were heard for our 2nd Emergency ex-parte motion and my SBTX imploded infront of her, the bailiff even had to step in to keep her from interrupting and the hearing ended abruptly. Judge mentioned any further defiance would result in a change to the parenting plan and that she reset the schedule so I get to pick-up my D3 (who was put back in school) today!

I've confirmed that D3 is in school, so it looks like my SBTX has finally capitulated to the orders (for now). We have not yet filed a contempt motion for attorney's fees for the emergency hearing and back-days with my D3, should we wait for another offense or file it ASAP? The judge was already annoyed to see us back in the courtroom on 2 back-to-back emergency hearings and if my wife complies with the original =orders, I feel that she might be less enthused to do anything for me at a contempt hearing and I'll just be raking up hours (debt) for nothing. Any suggestions?

Also, can someone please give me the technical differences between the two motions?
