I'm in the middle of a nasty divorce and am poised to win at least 50/50 custody after ex's multiple sexual abuse and physical assault allegations that the judge and state authorities have come to realize have no merit and are being weaponized against me.

I have been thinking about the kind of post-divorce life I am going to have co-parenting with a vindictive ex who is a overt grandiose narcissist. At 40, I don't ever plan on getting married again, nor having more children (I only have one). I am looking forward to spinning plates but I can't seem to fathom any sort of realistic LTR situation down the road.

I know some men have made the bargain of choosing to eschew time and influence over their offspring in order to make more free time for the next woman, that's not an option I'm willing to entertain.

I would like to hear what sort of LTR arrangements any of the divorced men here with shared custody have? Is your LTR a single mom or has no kids? What sort of relationship does she have with your child vis-a-vie your ex?

I understand the ideal path as embodied by a Rich Cooper for example, is to have a single child-free LTR who lives apart and is willing to remain unmarried, but how many divorced men have such an arrangement? Again, not talking about plates.
