Actually there was a deadline and she missed the it because she wanted to strike a rule in the judgement the prevented us from choosing vacation dates on the opposing parents weekend. So I agreed to amend the judgement and then we both re-picked dates post deadline.

I already set my boundary, there is no coming around at this point. I either capitulate or keep my daughter and face the fallout of either choice.

The problem is the order just states the following: "In the event of a conflict, the Husband's preferences will be honored in odd numbered years and the Wife's preferences will be honored in even numbered years." It doesn't get into any other details and yes I have to think about the future and the precedent this sets.

How did she agree to mediation? Have you already made concessions? If she truly has NPD, mediation will be a waste of time and money. Always wear a digital recorder on you while interacting with her, plant cameras around the house and be prepared to be falsely accused.

Never tell a woman your problems, never. They say they want vulnerability but in reality this behavior repulses them. Talk to your family and your bros about your situation, but try your best to keep these two world's apart.

No civil judge is going to grant a restraining order based on what she's done, and if so, not one that is long term. My attorney is good but I wish he advocated more strongly for restricting possibility of contact. My ex wouldn't have agreed and this provision would have gone to trial.

The GAL in our case recommended a parental coordinator, we opted not to get one because I know ex would disagree with her anyway and I would be getting billed for it. I'd be interested to hear how that goes.

You sound confused, but one thing is for sure, your wife controls the frame of the marriage. Do you have children? Do you own the house? Your wife already has somebody lined up, but doesn't want you dating around. Even if you don't date, make it clear this is not an aspect of your life that she will have a say in. You are going to be negotiating ALOT of things, this shouldn't be one of them.

If you are a believer, then you are first accountable to yourself. You wouldn't require an outside force to compel you to recognize your wrongs. Show me a hypocrite/poser and I'll show you a zealot/saint, they are at the opposite ends of the spectrum. What is certain is that the woman who calls herself "spiritual" does not want to bother with the question of accountability because there is none in her version of religion.
/r/Divorce_Men03/04/24 10:41 PM

Spiritual = Religion minus accountability (ie. sin, repentance, commandments...). My ex was the same and you've astutely observed the relationship between being spiritual and being accountable.

I wouldn't recommend cold approaching at the gym. Its one of those spaces where women overtly tease and expect you not to hound them. If she frequents a class you attend and it naturally happens cool, but don't force it. Don't overthink it, you didn't miss out on "the one" because there is no "one"

Wife claims she didn't know the doctor would take it to social services, although she worked in healthcare. Impossible to prove one way or the other. She is clearly lying. If she worked in healthcare she is trained to look for signs of abuse and is obligated to report them just as the doctor did.

Hey bro I'm sorry she leveled these accusations at you, I know how it feels and how difficult it is to even talk about this. My ex (NPD) accused me of the same with my daughter, it is unforgivable. This happened years ago so know that she is way ahead of you on her divorce plans, you need a plan and to file first ASAP. The only thing you disagree with his who is doing the frowning and yes he should be going for parallel parenting. Lets take the divorce aspect out of this scenario, getting wrapped up with another woman with kids this quickly and telling her your problems is reckless and beta on a personal level. At the divorce level, he's "hurting mom's feelings" and unfortunately at least in OP's case, he is getting flack for that.
/r/Divorce_Men10/03/24 04:16 PM

If she is either, she is BPD and not NPD from your examples. I’m in a similar situation with an NPD ex who wants to continue to control. There is an important distinction between parallel and co-parenting, the court and attorneys know this and sounds like you could justify it with your history. However, jumping into another LTR, telling this woman your problems and already doing things with all the kids together…you are inviting more chaos and complexity into your life when your divorce isn’t ev…

Let me fix the 2nd paragraph: "This concept [parental alienation] is leading courts across the country to reduce the amount of time children spend with their abusive mothers and re-introducing minors to their fathers, even when there is a documented history of false allegations against them." Yes, but not in the way you might think. Individual counseling was a waste of money, I just needed someone to talk to. Couples counseling however, let me see how unhinged my wife was with a professional in a clinical setting. The couples counselor ended up quitting because of my wife's attitude AND declared that she does not believe our marriage is salvageable. That was important for me to hear and its the event that tipped me over the line.

Disagree and I have a good relationship with my parents, whom my ex-SO hates. You and only you should be your mental point of origin. Your relationship between parents and SO should be balanced but ultimately different and serve different purposes. If you are being put in the middle of disagreements it is because neither your parents or SO respect your authority.

Thanks You aren’t attractive. If you were, women wouldn’t give a shit about the stage of your divorce. Ask me how I know. This rejection has come from women that have made the initial move on the dating app, so they find the profile at least attractive enough to do that. I see validity with what you're saying in IRL interactions but maybe not so much with online game.

Religion was not the wedge in your relationship, it was her mom, whose frame she was in and not yours. You had 3 years to act and she adopted religious zealotry as a means of accelerating the relationship's eventual destruction or ensuring that her happiness becomes a proxy for God’s pleasure with men, and in so doing becomes a means of control (Rational Male - Religion). You were running the dangerously faulty premise of a 50/50 marriage and got out clean, be thankful for this!

I wouldn’t be so accommodating as to tell or ask my child if they wanted to leave. These are public spaces and you have every right to be there even if you didn’t have children present. Its not so peculiar, I’ve sat at the park waiting for the ex to bring my daughter, I am not moving.

No, its not the same as "She loves me for me!" I'm not deluded to think that western women aren't interested in things like money and status. The difference between the western woman and the jungle Asian, is that the former is discerning enough to recognize whether a man really does posses money or status, they are not bedazzled by the mystical white man to the point of blindly attributing things he really doesn't posses. You are the same person - the bar is just lower because you're fetishized …

How about overcoming your autism and thriving in the place you were born in? This is an effective recipe, but its ultimately an unequivocal surrender. If you are RP aware, you should have enough self-awareness and respect for yourself to know that the only reason you've found success with jungle Asians is because you have been fetishized for what you represent, not what you are.

Its not so much that you have to date multiple women simultaneously, it more so about not inhibiting yourself from pursuing or closing off options once you do have a woman in your orbit. It helps answer the question whether she is the one because she's simply available or because she has truly withstood the test of time of experiences with you and rose to the top of the prospect pile.

Absolutely it is relevant to your case and you should enter it into evidence, did you have an emergency (ex-parte) hearing? Looks like your divorce was too easy to learn anything from and you're probably going to make the same mistake twice. If a woman is what you need to be happy, you got work to do. A couple of quotes from Rollo Tomassi's book Religion which I highly recommend any religiously inclined men here read. The real-world risks that modern marriage presents to men today are dispelled by religious idealism. Marriage becomes a literal leap of faith. The religious framework is only applicable to the man, that's why they are so appealing for the woman. Even if she was faithful and never chooses to divorce you, she can still make your life a living hell. As we make women the intermediar…

Date but your mind should not be on marriage. I was 30 when I met my future ex-wife and threw away 10 years with her (and I consider myself fortunate). Know that women in their early 30s want to lock a man down because they are going to hit the biological wall and you're sexual value will keep rising as you enter your late 30s. You have the right instinct and the fact you are here, you're already ahead of the game. Before anything ask yourself why/how are these people putting pressure on you? I …

I'm 40 years old, my schedule is too busy to make plans simply for sexual gratification IF said women has zero LTR potential. That's not say I'm not open to casual dating, but an LTR is the end goal.

Thanks for the response, alot to chew on. I suppose not cohabitating with a single mom would significantly reduce these issues, but then to your point, why would she accept that? If not cohabitating is a rule, I"m probably more likely to secure a single woman than a single mom.

To put it simply, as long as your ex is aware and the money can be traced - you can be made to account for it, regardless if you forgot your password or not. Are there ways to purchase crypto without leaving a trace? Yes, you would do it by paying with cash peer-to-peer or via a crypto ATM using petty cash (avoiding KYC minimums). Once a tax return is filed with a dependent's tax ID number, the IRS will not accept another e-filed return with that same dependent even if the first return is amended to remove the dependent. So, if a parent tries to e-file a tax return claiming a child that has already been claimed for the year, the return will be rejected by the IRS. The desire to hold off is not just about having our daughter complete Montessori and getting her into the public school system, it also: Allows me to wait for a better housing market Gives me more guaranteed 1:1 time with my daughter Gives me more time at current job where I make less money, so that at 2 year mark I can exit to a higher seniority level (not there yet) Wife will be earning more than me by then Besides, my …

The "first-to-file" advantage is overrated, so don't sweat it. It was a good idea to wait after all that, your wife looks like the callous one by doing it so quickly. Don't leave over night, but I would suggest going to the gym when things heat up. Convert that anxiety into gains.

I should of specifically said, couples counseling is antithetical to RP because it relegates the success or failure of your marriage to a third party and not the man. I don't know how I feel about that, but that is the rationale given out.

It is baffling how easy it is for her to not have sex, no sex toys, porn, nothing. I think it has been conditioned out of her (coming from the Middle East), but still, you'd think she would act on it at some point. Her aphrodisiac is power.

No, I'm not looking for sympathy or a way to get her to heel - I have more than enough inputs to chart my course ahead. Its more a cautionary tale of unattractive behaviors and oversights that buried me and may resonate with others.

Saturday night after she told me she wanted to leave Let HER leave then - not you. Don't break down or reveal talk about your emotions to her. You've lost your frame and its going be quite a task to regain it, should you want to. 2 months of bitchy behavior is nothing in terms of enduring shit from a wife, but its also suspect how sudden of a turn she took. So snoop on her and get conclusive evidence she is cheating and start working on your divorce game plan ASAP!

There is nothing wrong with not wanting to have your boys get gayed up by their passive aggressive mom. In a sane society, she would be prosecuted for child abuse for pushing that on your boys, unfortunately we live in a globohomo society and your ex knows the institutions are behind her. I wouldn't complain to her, it will only reinforce her behavior, but I would instill a sense of agency in your boys. Sorry to hear they're being used by your sick ex.

This post would make more sense coming from a woman. You are obviously not the best version of yourself and I'm sure your current wife knows that. If you think some fling is the key to your happiness, prepare for divorce #2.

Your dad need's a new lawyer and a copy of No More Mr. Nice Guy. You can support your dad by helping out in documenting and being a witness should the case goto trial or a GAL gets assigned. I don't know Australian law, but 6 years is still young. I expect he will have to pay some alimony to her, but at the same time will still need to support you and your brother for 3-5 more years. The big unknown is your little half-sister and what the custody arrangement for her will be. Is he positive that …

Sorry, this is nightmarish and yeah the fact she's delegating a lesbian with this authority makes it worse. Whats your custody arrangement? Let your kids know, you are always there and available. I'm not quite sure you want to even bestow the that sort of recognition to the SO yet, without first speaking with your ex.

This is the path I am on, not finalized, Dread being fully applied. The snag is discerning what is genuine change and is it good enough to withdraw the divorce. In my case, my wife is so prideful and arrogant she is still relying on shaming me and threatening sole custody instead of humbling herself and owning up to her faults in the marriage. The only thing keeping me from being 100% is my daughter and the minuscule possibility my wife will turn around.

I agree with this. My wife would be the one who would tell me she wants a divorce, thinking I wouldn't call her bluff until the day I actually did. I didn't announce anything until it was filed. Now she wants me to call it off. You asking your wife this question repeatedly is still putting all the responsibility in her hands, at the minimum, its a beta behavior.

Get back in there ASAP. Calling the cops to enter and escort you in is the way to go. Believe me, the cops will not make it any more traumatic then it already is. If you are calm and brief the police, even goto the station yourself. Their presence can de-escalate the situation. Your wife will either straighten up or if she acts wild, you get some solid evidence.

Your take sounds right. She is not willing to enter therapy even for the purpose of co-parenting. It is either reconcile or scorched earth. Its not presumptive 50/50 in my state but I am confident I will get better than EOW.

This is a good summation of my situation, but she is not at all "relieved I filed". She wants me to call off the divorce - that is the twist. I also have a child with her, so yeah I’m going to grasp at straws should they exist. Commenters who don’t have kids can STFU and jack off to the mirror.

The filing of a divorce is not the end-all, be-all. It is not final, until it is final. Of course I would prefer for things to workout, but the stay-plan is the same as the go-plan, divorce is just a phase regardless of which direction we ultimately end up in.

Being of mixed race, your future kids are going to grow up confused and conflicted regardless of which set of parents they are near to. I understand the healthy desire to want them to identify with your race, but either you or your wife will have to subsume to the other's culture. I know this because my SBTX is Middle Eastern. Forget what your or her family thinks, but also know how much of a help and support they may be to you guys. Does your woman like your mom and vice versa? If there is any …

He just released a speech today where he outlines the basis of his beliefs starting at 6:50 in the video. Essentially he puts significance into Eve/woman listening to Satan (her god) and Adam/man listening to Eve/woman (his god) as opposed to the Father. He see's this same dynamic perpetuating itself today and encourages men to forgive their mothers for harboring resentment against them (its their nature after all) and by doing so returning to the Father. God over man, man over woman, woman over…

Even IF there was a pathway to bring this back to some semblance of normality, would you even want to try for it now? My guess is a hard NO. You are correct. She said that if her dad was here to help out and was present, she would refrain from yelling at me! (Doesn't want to embarass herself). Thanks, these are the conclusions I've come to reading the material and hitting the same resistance despite making progress.
