This is nothing but administrative harrasment

OC wants something... ask your attorney to talk to OC and say "ok, enough what do you want (besides vacate home)?"

This will start a dialogue for negotiation. OC/ex are just being phallic parts and jerking you around.

I told my lawyer to not respond to hers too. He would send letters weekly, that mine had to read and charge me for...no sense paying to respond as well.

Lawyers can be shitty human beings.

I haven't been in your shoes, not exactly. But I get it. My ex had a rich mom who paid her legal bills. I had a limited budget for a lawyer. My ex knew this. They deliberately used every trick to drive up my legal costs. They buried me in paper while my lawyer charged $400/hr.

In this case, I might suggest fighting fire with fire. Send your ex's lawyer a 55-page reply filled with fluff. Hell, use ChatGPT to come up with the text. Just page after page of quasi-legal fluff and meaningless proposals.

Lawyers are duty-bound to read all the papers that are submitted in a case. Let her lawyer go over 55 pages at $400/hr.

Okay, this might not be the best idea. It won't look great in court. But maybe something else along those lines.

EDIT: I just asked ChatGPT to write a cease-and-desist letter that needs to be indistinct, without any details, and has no real legal significance. But also, it has to be lengthy and wordy and needlessly long-winded.

I told my ex, her lawyer and mine.. as she'd tried to do this crap to me. (My lawyer was pissed about it too, in part because hers charged more then him.. but also because she was wasting his time constantly.

I created a few proposals, sent them to ex and her lawyer.. the only responses were required to the whole document signed. Any changes they could ask me, and if it was needed I'd ask my lawyer..
