The statehouse here in Massachusetts is having two hearings today

  1. Senate hearing on establishing a divorce task force.

and

  1. House hearing on an act relative to the collateral consequences of alimony.

Hearing is to change percentage from 33% to 23% to 28% of the difference between the parties gross income.

A state rep/attorney that inadvertently was dropping something off in my courtroom the day of my trial and witnessed the judge being adversarial to my attorney and commented later to my attorney on it is one of the petitioner’s - I wrote to her a few months after my trial but didn’t hear anything back. Perhaps I will have a chance to speak to her today.
