We went to mediation on Friday where I got screwed by my STBXW as the mediator said I'd have to comply with her demands that I do a parenting course and see a counsellor in order to have supervised access to my kids. She has said I'm an unsafe parent, despite the kids having never been hurt on my watch, including whilst she went on 2 overseas trips last year.

So come Sunday, she says that I'm not to see the kids for 6 weeks, as I'm a front line emergency services worker and can't self quarantine. The reason being that I might infect her mother, who has an auto-immune disease. I told her that's not acceptable and I have priority to access the kids over her mother.

So yesterday (Australia), she said her mother isn't going to see the kids but I still can't see them for 2 weeks minimum, in case they get infected. I went to see my lawyer, who said there's nothing I can do, as the mediation certificate hasn't been provided and even if it had, the courts are closed until May due to the virus and would only hear fresh cases involving serious risk to the children. On his advice I wrote a latter asking her to stick to the mediation agreement, she rang me blowing up about me seeing a solicitor (which she has admitted that she has already done in the past) and said she'd spend endless money if that's the route I want to take.

This is fucked! Then she rings me saying that she will need my help as her mother can't assist. I told her I can't help her, she kicked me out in the first place and now I'm a risk to the kids. However, I will take food and essentials to them, for my kid's sake.
