Hello all, I 44 currently getting divorce I filed and have representation. I live in CT which is a no fault state. I decided to file for divorce because my wife was having an affair and continued this through marriage consuling and even though she saod she stopped, she never did. I have real evidence, and my attorney reccommended not going down that road unless things are becoming difficult. Which, they really are. I have 4 children, 1 girl, 3 boys ages 9,8,6, and 5. We currently live in the same home which her mother who lives with us purchased. The home os in My stbxw and my name. She told the boys we are getting divorced and that I leaving, my 5 yo told me this and he was scared he would never see me and asked if he could visit. She and her mother are both trying to gas light me into a reaction and she is making it seem like I am abusive in public. I have kept my calm.and composer as this goes on knowing the outcome is what matters. I want to split, take my half and move on. I tried to work it out and ot was not met with the same resolve.
