Concern #1 - my children met with the GAL without my knowledge - put more precisely, the GAL scheduled an appointment with the kids through my wife, then had the appointment with the kids and nobody ever told me. It seems like a GAL would be hypervigilant about keeping both parents in the loop, given their role, but nobody tells me.

My lawyer blames my wife. My response: Why would she tell me? She hates me. That's why we need a GAL. My lawyer's response: This doesn't look good for me. If my wife and I can't communicate on small details like this then we can't coparent and I won't get to see my kids.

Ok...... guess it serves me right for. I guess I should not have...... done what?

Concern #2: - my wife's financial affidavit understates her assets by hundreds of thousands of dollars - like 800 thousand or more. This is easily demonstrated by simply adding the value of the accounts that she provides in her own statements. I'm told not to worry about it. This is something we don't complain about. We just keep it in our back pocket in case we need it.

Really? What's the point of a financial affidavit?
